I was hit by an uninsured driver. Can I still claim?

In the UK there is an organisation called the Motor Insurers Bureau or MIB for short. MIB is funded by all the motor insurance companies in the UK. If you were injured by an uninsured driver or they are untraceable, it is still very likely that we are able to claim on your behalf from the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB).

Can I claim for injuries at work?

First of all, you should seek medical attention, and then report the accident to your employers, as they will want to note the incident down in their accident book. It would also be a good idea to obtain a copy of this entry in the accident book. After doing these steps you should certainly give us a call, as you might have a case against your employers.

I fell over due to a wet floor at work. Is it my fault, or someone else’s?

It all depends on the various circumstances of the incident, but it won’t hurt to call us and ask for our opinion on the matter.

How much compensation could I expect?

Nobody is able to predict exactly how much each case will receive, as each case is different. I am really busy, do I need to come and visit you at the office to claim compensation?

Can I still claim if the accident took place a couple years ago?

The beauty about living in Britain is that it allows a period of up to three years from the date of your accident to claim compensation.

How long can I expect to wait for my compensation to be paid out?
